10am to 2pm

Q) Where is it located?
Mudgeeraba Village Green, Railway Street and surrounds.

Q) Does this event cost anything to watch/attend?
This is a public event and admission is free.

Q) Are any roads closed?
Yes – there will be temporary road closures in place along parts of Railway Street and Swan Lane from 6am to 4pm on event day to allow activities/stalls and spectators to keep safe. There will also be a temporary road closure in place from Elise Laver Park to facilitate the street parade. More information of the proposed closure can be downloaded here.

Q) Where can I park?
This is a local event for the local community so we envisage most attendees will walk/scooter/bike to the event area. There is limited car parking around the venue and side streets but would encourage people to use public transport or ride share where possible. In the interest of community safety and to avoid parking infringements, please follow the City Parking Guidelines here.

Q) Is public transport operating?
Please see translink timetable here – https://translink.com.au/. Alternatively, taxi/uber/rideshare or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the event. Please plan accordingly.

Q) Is there allocated seating?
No – but there may be some tables/chairs next to the food areas.

Q) Can I bring a picnic blanket?
Yes. We encourage you to bring a blanket to relax and enjoy the entertainment. Please note – venue is a mixture of grass, pathways and concrete so bring blankets and towels/cushions to help for comfort.

Q) Can I bring a camping chair?
Yes – but if bringing a chair, we ask that you sit to the back (or side) of entertainment areas so as not to reduce the viewing of those behind you. Please ensure you take everything home with you that you bring, including any waste.

Q) Can I bring food and drink?
We encourage attendees to support the many local food and drink businesses situated in and around the event space and Shopping Centre.

Q) Can I bring alcohol?
No. This is a public event and alcohol is not permitted to be consumed onsite. QPS will be in attendance throughout the event.

Q) Can I bring my pet?
Attendees can bring their pets as it’s an open space but please ensure they’re in your control and on leads at all times. Please note however, there will be a lot of people, stalls, activities and loud noises from audio speakers, so it might be worthwhile re-considering before bringing your furry friend.

Q) Where is lost property?
If you find or lose something – please go to the Event Managers information tent on the day. After the event, any lost property will be kept at The Events Agency HQ for 21 days.
